The Land of Lincoln

Illinois is called the Land of Lincoln because  Illinois was the state where Abraham Lincoln began his political career. This name is the Official State Slogan of Illinois, designated in 1955. Illinois was also where Lincoln lived when he became President of the United States in 1861.

We will also support candidates for the local village, school board, and other positions whenever possible.

We will also support Republican federal candidates for U.S. Senate and Representative to the United States Congress.

In presidential years we will support the primary contenders for the GOP nomination, and the nominee once chosen.
